PT module

Description:

This PT module (“Pre-Treatment module”) simultaneously deparaffinizes sections and unmasks epitopes. This device allows standardization of heat-induced epitope retrieval and enables optimization of retrieval conditions for a new antibody.

It features an integrated computer with a touchscreen for protocol programming (duration and temperature can be adjusted). Slides placed on a holder are loaded into the PT module racks (maximum 24 slides per rack).

The device has 2 racks that can operate independently. Three buffers of different pH values are provided with the device: a Citrate buffer pH 6 and an EDTA buffer pH 8.
