All practical information for accessing RHEM services

Access: Access conditions

The RHEM is open to anyone with occasional or ongoing needs in experimental histology, belonging to the scientific community (academic, private, or clinical).

There are no restrictions based on geographic location, institution, or scientific criteria for accessing the platform’s resources. However, a project may be declined if the platform’s managers consider it outside their area of expertise or not feasible within a reasonable timeframe.

To access RHEM services

  • Meet with a platform manager (see Registration)
  • Have a personal account on the MRI portal for potential slide digitization
  • Have a user account for the histology platform management software (100lims4histo)

Access: Equipment booking

Attention, you must be registered with RHEM to make a reservation and obtain your login credentials.

Click on “Reservation” to access the equipment and workstation booking software for the various RHEM platforms.

RHEM: Request for techniques

Attention, you must be registered with RHEM to place an order. If you are not registered, please go to the registration page.

Click on Place Order to access the remote ordering software.

Access: Shuttle service

To facilitate researchers’ work, the RHEM network has set up a shuttle service for collecting and redistributing samples.

Instructions regarding the shuttle service

  1. Samples must be kept in a sealed plastic container containing 70% ethanol (formalin is prohibited).

  2. These samples must have been properly fixed beforehand by the user.

  3. The amount of 70% ethanol per transport container must not exceed 1 liter per container and 6 liters per transport box.

  4. The accompanying form for transport must be completed and attached to the shuttle (one per transport box).

This shuttle is provided by the Inserm Occitanie Méditerranée delegation.

Two sets of transport boxes are used during the shuttle between the different institutes.

The person in charge of the shuttle makes a ROUND TRIP between the IRCM and the other institutes.

Access: Pricing

The billing system of our network is based on the principle of a reservation and service completion fee.

Our pricing is approved by the CNRS accounting department. We offer 2 rates depending on your status: academic or private.
