R&D: General Information

The RHEM platform does not only work on researcher-led projects; it also conducts technological development for the benefit of the scientific community.

Objectives of these developments

  • To develop new histological techniques, such as novel simplex or multiplex immunolabelling methods, aimed at improving the histological phenotyping of researchers’ experimental models, and to extend the smFISH approach using RNAscope technology to achieve better compatibility with highly autofluorescent tissues and to expand multiplexing capabilities.
  • Offer 3D analysis of cleared organs
  • Create a Biological Tissue Collection (BTC) which, similar to Biological Resource Centers, would be accessible online to the entire scientific community.
